This collection of World War II books spans a period from the end of World War I through World II, up to and including the defeat of the Axis powers.

The collection embraces more than 2500 volumes, of which, approximately 200 are duplicates. Almost all are hardback first editions* in fine to excellent condition. Most are preserved in dust jackets, many in protective covers as well.

The collection has been housed on bookshelves and in a temperature controlled environment.

As we approach the twenty first century, these volumes have become increasingly difficult to obtain. For institutions, in addition to their value as primary sources, the volumes are a potential reservoir of much exhibit material: the dust jackets alone relate the riveting story of a conflict and its consequences, never previously experienced nor likely to be ever duplicated.

To reference the value of this collection or of individual items, links have been provided in the title list to various online book sellers. To search an online retail catalog for the desired title, simply click on the appropriate button in the title list.

This collection represents years of selection and is now being offered for sale to interested individuals and/or institutions in whole or in part, as individual items. No value has been placed on individual items, but the aggregate value is in excess of sixty-five thousand dollars. The seller will entertain offers at or above that level.
